Prayer Heals!

The Lord is close to the broken-hearted, and he saves those whose spirits have been crushed.” (Psalm 34:18)
“And we send down of the Quran that which is a Healing and a Mercy to those who believe.”
(Quran 17:82)

“The super soul, the supreme personality of God Head, is the source of light.”
(Bhagwad Gita 13:18)
“Patience is the best Prayer.”
(Buddha)

There are more than five hundred religions in the world that ultimately preach the same thing – Prayer Heals! And sure, it does. Β Faith is all that matters to get things right in times of distress and nourish your bruised soul. 1- Faith in yourself and 2- Faith in prayer. Yet, there are many of us who fall prey to intoxication or choose to be a wanderer instead of walking on the path of God. The difference between a lost camel in the desert and a lost man in this world is that the animal at the end of the day longs to return to his master and the lost man gradually becomes worse than an animal. According to me, it’s never to late for a prayer. Sometimes, some of us experience a blow before finally turning to the Lord and for some, meeting one’s Waterloo becomes necessary for spiritual devoutness to set in. Today or tomorrow; sooner or later, it is never too late for a prayer. Am I Right or Am I Right?
Certainly, prayer has the power to heal because the God you pray is bigger than the problems of your life. When you fall, He picks you up; when you are starving, He feeds you; He has promised you sunshine after every sunset.
So ladies and gentlemen, “Which of the favours of the Lord will you deny?”

Forever and ever,

Samreen Ahmed
