Last week we visited Cavallli Caffe here in Jeddah for a special dinner. I was longing to visit this place ever since it was opened in February so finally we made a reservation and reached one of the city’s most happening place. We were guided to our table and were handed a Cavalli themed menu that is signed by the wizard.
The menu boasts of a large variety of authentic Italian piatti. There are soups, salads, appetizers, pizza, pastas, risottos and main course for you to savour upon. I chose to have Pollo Spinaci which was basically chicken marinated with herbs and a creamy spinach filling. It was served with carrot puree and a potato fondant. I loved their beautiful presentation. Zo went for his usual Penne Arabiatta but I must say this one at Cavalli Caffe is a top of the line choice that is full of flavour and pleasing to the sense of taste.
It was now time to satisfy our sweet cravings. My favourite part of the meal – Desserts or Dolci like they say it in Italiano. I read the dessert menu a million times before ordering Raspberry Mille-Feuille (pronounced mil-fee) which is a dish composed of puff pastry layered with a vanilla cream filling and fresh raspberries. They have some really interesting desserts that will give you a tough time to zero down on any one. I am definitely going back to try each and every thing present on the menu.
Cavalli Caffe warmly greets you with its signature animal print interiors that are beyond gorgeous. A friendly staff makes the experience all the more memorable. All in all we had a great time at Cavalli Caffe and recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a Cavalli class affair.
Forever and ever,
