Lush Summer Must Haves

This month I received a box full of goodies from Lush- Fresh Handmade Cosmetics. I was told it is a collection of their summer must-haves. Lush is known for their handmade organic,chemical-free products and using these definitely made my summer much better. The long lasting freshness and fragrance is so addictive. The best part is that I can use them without worrying about the harmful effects it could cause to my skin and hair.

Lush Shampoo Bar

Lush’s unique invention is the shampoo bar. They are said to do the job of two to three bottles of shampoo. Lather it up and use it on wet hair or glide it up and down your hair and work into a lather.

I am using the Seanik (on the left) which is a composed of seaweed and lemon extracts for shinier and bouncy locks and Soak And Float( on the right) which can be used for dry and irritated scalps.

Lush Shampoo Bars are advised to be placed in dry places so you can buy a shampoo bar tin seperately.

Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub

Lush Ocean Salt Face and Body Scrub

The Ocean Salt scrub is best to use for exfoliating your face. The sea salt helps in scrubbing away dirt and dead skin and other ingredients like avocado, coconut and lime are ideal blocked pores, blackheads and blemishes. The smoky smell is not very pleasing though.

I tried using it on other parts of my body but I realised that since it is not gel based I will have to use it in large quantities to clean my body which will ultimately result in an empty bottle in no time. Hence, I have reserved it only for my face exfoliation purposes.

Lush Whoosh Shower Jelly

To be honest I haven’t used it yet. Apparently it relaxes you if you are tired. You just have to chill the Shower Jelly in the fridge before using it. Wow!! I can’t wait to try it.

Lush Sea Spray Hair Mist

Lush Sea Spray is everything! It arrived at my place at the right time. My hair is getting thinner day by day and after using this sea spray I instantly notice a boost and lots of volume to my hair. The cherry on the cake is its citrusy fragrance. Also, it can be used as a setting spray. Everyone with thin hair must own this one. I strongly recommend it.

A chemical free, organic hair spray that does not damage your hair any further. What more can one ask for?

Lush Liquid Eyeliner

Lush Liquid Eyeliner

These tiny bottles of liquid eyeliner come in many other attractive shades. I don’t like the application brush though. It does not give you the precision you are looking for. The only USP of this product is its nourishing base that is made of almond oil, jojoba oil and rose petals that is good for soothing the sensitive skin around your eyes.

Overall rating: 7/10

Forever and ever,
