Pamper Your Skin With Nuxe

Ever wondered what’s the secret behind the beauty of French women? The only answer is Nuxe-Paris. The all natural beauty brand that is more of a cult trusted by many beauty conscious ladies around the world. I wanted to try their must-haves and here I am with a review of my favourite Nuxe products.

Nuxe Creme Fraiche

A moisturiser that smells like fresh flowers, Creme Fraiche is a non greasy intense moisturiser that keeps your skin hydrated throughout the day. It comes in a pot and the texture feels like a souffle. A little goes a long way so the pot is sure to last a couple of months for you.

Reve de Miel lip balm

Reve de Miel is a lip balm for dry and chapped lips which is formulated with honey and beeswax.  Unlike most pot balms Reve de Miel does not have a melting, ultra silky formula.  It’s a thick, almost waxy cream leaving the lips feeling well moisturised but not at all slippery. It is more of a treatment for chapped lips I can say.

Huile Prodigieuse dry oil

A multi purpose dry oil that is dubbed as Nuxe’s best seller and is apparently sold every seven seconds around the world. It is an all rounder that makes your skin look more youthful and glowing. I love the fragrance. My skincare routine now feels like a spa treatment. It comes in a classy glass bottle with a spray that is easy to use.

I dont use it in the daytime because it does not absorb completely and makes your skin look a little shiny. I wear it before bedtime which actually is a better thing to do because it heals your skin overnight. Although if you have really dry skin you can definitely use it during the day as well.

If you are using the dry oil for your hair then make sure you use a little only because too much can make your hair look oily. Just spray a little and massage on your hair to control the frizz or simply to nourish your hair. Again, you can use it before bedtime so that it can work all night long leaving lustrous hair the next morning. A must try!

White BB Cream

The BB Cream is medium in color. Its able to blend in to your skin color after applying. In fact, after I apply, I can’t really tell if I have already applied it.  It is extremely light weight and conceals your dark spots to a great extent…however it cannot be used completely as a foundation. I usually mix it with my primer before doing my base makeup as it brightens your face. I have oily skin so this matches my skin type perfectly.

Creme Prodigieuse DD Cream

The Nuxe DD is available in three shades – light, medium and dark and is said to protect your skin from pollution.  I have the medium, it’s quite rich in colour when swatched but it blends in well with my own light olive skin tone. The coverage can be built up and  has more of a ‘light foundation’ rather than ‘tinted moisturiser’ look. It evens out skintone and lightly masks imperfections. Although it does not feel very moisturising but your skin can become a little oilier by the end of the day and might require some blotting.

Nuxellence Eclat anti aging cream

Apply Nuxellence Eclat every morning to recharge your skin and restore all of its youthful radiance. A must have anti aging serum for ladies who have crossed 30.

Its light texture is quickly absorbed, so you can apply your additional skincare product straight afterwards.

For normal to combination skin, Nuxellence Eclat can be used alone.

For dry and very dry skin, apply Nuxellence Eclat before a moisturising cream.

I am very particular about the products I use for my skin because unfortunately I have extremely sensitive skin that requires extra care. I tried Nuxe and I am quite satisfied with the results. Do try them out and let me know your experience.

Forever and ever,

Samreen Ahmed
